My Story
Background Story:
Sport has always been a passion of mine. I’ve tried many sports, but my main sport was ski racing. I spent years travelling up and down England to compete, as well as the mountains of Austria, training and competing across Europe. It was through skiing that I discovered my love for the gym. The coaching I received inspired me to become a coach myself, to help others in the same way. Strength and conditioning quickly became the career path I wanted to pursue. I love the challenge of exercise, the social aspect, the rewards, and the process of pushing yourself to achieve something. Always seeking new challenges and experiences, I packed my bags and moved to Thailand. I've been here for over two years, working in the long-term athlete development sector at an International School, combining my love for exercise with my desire to explore.
My Purpose:
From the age of 13 during my skiing days, I faced many challenges related to my menstrual cycle and stomach issues, experiencing many symptoms, missing training days, and being in pain. To manage these challenges, I turned to contraception, masking the root of the problem for a while rather than understanding it. I have always relied on exercise to maintain my physical and mental well-being and through relentless years of research, adjusting habits, and trial and error, things have improved. I am learning to listen to my body and train around how I am feeling. While I’ve made progress, I’m still learning and adapting to these barriers. Knowing firsthand how difficult it can be, my purpose is to help other women try to navigate their challenges, so they can reach their full potential, without letting their struggles hold them back.
How can I help:
My personal experiences have shaped my training approach, which is centered around a deep understanding of the female body, menstrual cycle support, and creating sustainable habits that promote long-term well-being. My goal is to empower women to train in alignment with their bodies. My personal experiences have shaped my training approach, centered around a deep understanding of the female body, menstrual cycle support, and creating sustainable habits that promote long-term well-being. My goal is to empower women to train in alignment with their bodies. And after living in Thailand for over two years exploring, I can now help plan the perfect adventure-filled holiday too.
